Developed by artist Halsey Burgund and a crew of developer friends, Roundware: http://www.roundware.org/ is a Linux-based, opensource platform that runs in Python for developing audio and video experiences. The project does not contain much documentation, but the code is available via SourceForge and in an SVN repository.
